King's Eye or Eyes Blind. Pupils are missing and eyes are just spots of colour.

Bump on top of King's Head. A large and prominent bump of paler colour on King's head directly under letters "ST" of POSTAGE.

Crest to King's Head. A large crest like tuft of hair standing up from back of King's head and reaching nearly to "ST" in POSTAGE.

Cockade to King's Head. A pointed tuft of hair, broad at base rising from the top of the King's head just under left stroke of "A" in POSTAGE and reaches up to, and joins right leg of "A" in POSTAGE.

Pixie Ear to King. The lobe of the King's right ear is like a small round drop attached to ear.

Shoulder Flaw. A large white spot at exact comer of inner frame lines at left bottom corner. There are two stages of this flaw. One consists of a small white spot. The other, small white spot greatly enlarged probably owing to wear.

Lanyard Flaw. A short white bar, at top of lanyard at King's right shoulder. Very similar to Medal Ribbon Bar.

Lanyard Flaw (2). A small arrow head shaped dark brown spot on King's lanyard at junction with date tablet.

Lanyard Flaw (3). The inner cord, always at inner side of lanyard and reaching about half its length is missing.

Flaw above King's head. A number of stamps seem to suggest the covering of a large flaw between "AG" in POSTAGE and top of King's head. The hair in some stamps seems to extend upwards and cut into "G" of POSTAGE. Many other differences are apparent.

Spot on King's epaulet. Small white spot positioned at top of outside tassel to King's left epaulet. Cyl 23d, row 3/4.

Fringe joins hair. Curl of fringe on forehead extends and joins hair just below wave No.5.
